Exuviance Firm-NG6 Non-Acid Peel - Review

When I first heard about the Exuviance Firm-NG6 Non-Acid Peel, I was a bit skeptical since my sensitive skin have not loved peels in the past.  Although my skin would look nice, there was typically irritation and redness first.  The product claims to have the benefits of a peel, without any irritation.  I was worried that my dry, sensitive skin would still react negatively, since it can be irritated by some of the more milder cleansers.

About the Firm-NG6 Non-Acid Peel

This peel is made with NeoGlucosamine®, which promotes cell turnover and will exfoliate your skin without irritation.  Unlike most peels, this one is a no-rinse formula, so once it dries you are all set to apply the rest of your skincare regimen.   It is gentle enough to be applied multiple times though out the week to maximize your results.

  • 6% Patented NeoGlucosamine® formulation gives you the benefits of a typical peel, with out irritating your skin
  • Accelerates cell renewal, and improve texture and tone
  • Plump skin matrix, to increase volume and firm and tighten skin
  • Exfoliates skin
  • Reduces pigment to brighten the skin
  • Younger, smoother, firmer skin
  • No burn

How To Use the Non-Acid Peel

I actually really like the packaging of this product, it has a disc at the top that you press down to dispense the product.  On to clean skin, evenly apply one to two pumps over the skin, without rubbing it in.  (I would suggest using one pump at first, until you know how your skin will react)  After about 5-10 minutes, once the product is dry and absorbed into the skin, apply your usual moisturizer.

My Thoughts on the Non-Acid Peel

Like  I said before, I was super skeptical of a peel that you don't wash off.  I have tried some peels in the past, and my skin would usually get a bit irritated and red before I could see the results.  I'm happy to say, that I didn't experience any redness or irritation with this!  I absolutely love it!  My only recommendation is, if you are trying this for the first time, try to do it the night before a day that you don't have to wear makeup.  I found that the next day my skin peeled pretty badly, and you could easily see my dry, flaky patches.  Once I washed my face the next day, it went away and my skin looked great.  I'm hoping that over time the more I use this, the less dryness I have the next day.

Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin, or anyone who is new to peels.  At $68 for 1.7 fl oz. it is a bit pricey, but if you are in the market for some more higher-end skincare, give this peel a try!!  Click here to check it out!
