November 2014 Beauty + Lifestyle Favorites

It is hard to believe that November is already over, and Christmas is right around the corner!  This month was so crazy I didn't really get a chance to try out many new beauty products, so most of my favorites are things I have had for a while, and have rediscovered this past month.

Beauty Favorites

Beauty Blender + Blender Cleanser - I have loved the Beauty Blender and other makeup sponges for a while.  They give my foundation a flawless finish and make it extremely easy to blend out concealer, cream bronzer, and liquid highlighters.  The only problem is I always felt that no matter what I used to clean them, they never really were clean.  I recently used the Sephora VIB 20% Off sale to splurge and purchase the Beauty Blender set that included the liquid Blender Cleanser.  After just one use my Beauty Blender looked newer, and had very little staining from my foundation.  The cleanser also helps to remove any bacteria that can be harbored in the sponge.

Napoleon Perdis Blushing Powder - This has quickly become one of my favorite blushes for fall and winter.  It doesn't show its true color in pictures, but it is a beautiful warm purple plum shade.  Although it seems a little bit crazy to wear a purple shade on your cheeks, the other, lighter shades in this mosaic blush help to balance the purple and give a gorgeous warm wash of color to the skin that is spot on with the fall plum trend.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder + Sephora Airbrush Powder Brush - I received this powder when I was working at Ulta, but I never really tried it until recently.  I love how light it is!  It doesn't go cakey, and it doesn't emphasize any dry patches on my skin.  I like to apply it with the Sephora Airbrush Powder Brush, to give an even more smooth, flawless finish.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter - I have gone through a couple of the mini sizes of this body butter, and it is by far one of my favorites lotions.  It not only remedies my extremely dry skin, but it leaves my skin feeling softer than ever, and it smells amazing!  It is also available in a gift set with some other goodies, check it out here!

'Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)' by Mindy Kaling - I started reading this book in the summer, but life became busy and I didn't get a chance to finish it.  This month, I rediscovered this book and have been loving it!  This book is extremely funny and insightful, and with Mindy Kaling life stories you will be laughing throughout the whole book.

Here are my top 10 favorite songs from the month of November!  All of these songs have been on repeat in my car this month, There are plenty upbeat songs that make you want to get up and dance!  Be sure to give them a listen, and then click below to follow me and keep updated with my current favorite songs!

My last favorite for this month is by far at the top of my list this month, and will probably remain a favorite for quite a long time.  On November 1st I was lucky enough to see Shaping Sound live in Buffalo, thanks to my amazing Mom!  Shaping Sound was started by a group of amazing dancers, some of which I have been a fan of for many years.  Their performance was beyond amazing, the entire show flowed smoothly into a fantastic story.  I cannot wait for their next tour, but until then I have been rocking my newest favorite sweatshirt all the time!

That's it!  Now I'm headed to do some Christmas decorating!
